Selfportrait with Parents is a work based on the working mechanism of the web 2.0 button. It has the normal status as seen when one does nothing, the mouseover status and the click status. These three status are similar to that of the hyperlink. In the normal status the user sees my full portrait cut up in pieces. Each piece has the same properties as a button without having a function. When the user does mouse over a piece a part of my mother appears. The third status is when the users clicks and sees a part of my father.
